10.25" x14" Artwork, matted and ready for a 12x16 Frame
Calling all sportsmen and women - a one of a kind original watercolor line-and-wash for your sports cave!
A friend challenged me to enter the art contest for this years Lionfish Challenge; the first time it was opened to all artists. The winner's artwork would be used for the tournament shirts. As they say, close only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades. Mine was certainly the most detailed, and also the only hand drawn and painted entry. In hindsight, they were looking for vector art. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the many hours involved in designing and creating this piece, and with the final result - thus, it's a win in my book.

- I've tried to represent colors accurately, but they may vary slightly in person. I photograph artwork in natural lighting (which fluctuates); and monitors and screens can display images differently.
- Watercolor is a delicate medium and shouldn't be displayed in an area that receives direct sunlight.
- The 'Floating' Art (ie: Daisies/Goldfinches) would be best displayed in a shadowbox frame or a frame without glass.
- Anti-glare glass is always an excellent choice when framing.
- I want every purchase to be a happy experience! Please contact me immediately if you are dissatisfied in any way, so that I can try to remedy the situation, or provide a refund upon return of the product (less return shipping).
